Dürkopp Adler GmbH, the shareholder of leading sewing technology company PFAFF Industriesysteme und Maschinen GmbH, has expanded its premises by another 14,000 square meters in Germany.
The buying of the optional ground took place in the presence of Zhang Min, the Chinese shareholder of ShangGong Group. The total area of the premises has now increased to 30,000 square meters.
It’s worth noting here that PFAFF and Dürkopp Adler are members of the ShangGong Group that’s located in Shanghai (China). ShangGong Group is a leading group for industrial sewing and welding technology with an international sales and service network and a total of 4,000 employees worldwide.
The purchased property represents an expansion of the PFAFF site in Bensheim and will be built with an extension building. PFAFF says that this expansion represents a clear commitment by PFAFF Industrial to the Bensheim site, where further jobs will be created in the medium term.
The PFAFF site in Bensheim mainly develops and manufactures automated sewing solutions for the automotive, environmental and filter technology sectors, as well as for the aviation and home textiles sectors.
